We are thrilled to share that Children’s Nebraska is receiving a $10,000 donation for winning a Miracle Momentum Award!
First Nebraska Credit Union, the Nebraska Credit Union League, and five other local credit unions, nominated Children’s Nebraska for the award.
The Awards selection committee had a very challenging task in spreading $200,000 of awards across a diverse group of 20 hospitals across the United States. I’m delighted to reveal that your nomination, Children’s Nebraska, was selected for a Velera Miracle Momentum Award this year.
The $10,000 donation to Children’s Nebraska will be made on behalf of the following organizations:
- First Nebraska Credit Union, Liberty First Credit Union, LincOne FCU, Nebraska Credit Union League, Nebraska Energy FCU, Omaha FCU, and OPPD Employee FCU
Children’s Miracle Network received nearly 500 submissions for 68 different hospitals throughout the country for this year’s inaugural awards! Learn more here.
Collaboratively, credit unions have raised over $200 million for CMN hospitals, helping to ensure that every child that enters a CMN hospital is treated, no matter their family’s ability to pay. It’s a proud proof point of our credit union industry’s impact story and one to share with members, employees and the advocacy community.
