FNCU earned an A+ rating by DepositAccounts.com, a subsidiary of LendingTree, in their analysis of the healthiest credit unions in America.
DepositAccounts.com evaluates the financial health of over 10,000 banks and credit unions in the United States, to determine credit union ranking and recognition. DepositAccounts.com grades each institution on a number of factors, including capitalization, deposit growth, and loan-to-reserve ratios.
“Top 200” Credit Unions
In 2021, FNCU ranked in the top 200 of all credit unions in the United States (the 5th time in six years!) for “exceptional fiduciary responsibility” by DepositAccounts.com.
This independent third party evaluates and ranks the financial health of every federally insured credit union in the United States (more than 5,200 total).
CUNA Advocacy Award
At the National Credit Union League Annual meeting in 2021, First Nebraska, along seven other Credit Unions, received an Advocacy award for their participation in the CUNA Advocacy campaign to help promote political candidates in Nebraska who support credit unions.
5-Star Rating from Bauer Financial
FNCU received a 5-star Bauer Financial rating in 2022, for excellent capital ratio and other financial criteria.
