Adeline

Adeline

An energetic 2nd grader. She loves drawing and art, likes science, and enjoys musical theater. She has Long QT Syndrome – a rare, potentially life-threatening condition. At 7 days old, she had open heart surgery to implant a pacemaker. She remains on a strict regimen of medicines.

Adeline was 1 of 72 children – every minute – who entered a Children’s Miracle Network hospital for treatment.

Adeline

Sloan

At 6 years old, Sloan loves to dance, sing and keep up with her 3 siblings. Sloan was born with a heart murmur, so she was sent to Children’s in Omaha for an echocardiogram. She was diagnosed with Tetrology of Fallot, a congenital heart defect. At 4 months old, and 10 lbs, she had open heart surgery. She will eventually need a valve replacement.

Sloan’s mom said, “if it wasn’t for Children’s (Nebraska), and the cardiology team, Sloan’s story could have been completely different.”

Adeline

Joseph

This 6-year-old loves life and has a contagious smile! He likes to talk about trains and help others. Born premature, weighing 1 lb. 9 oz., and spent nearly 5 months in NICU. At 8 days, he underwent brain surgery and heart surgery. He had another brain surgery to add a shunt to help with hydrocephalus, a buildup of brain fluid.

Every dollar counts! Can you help?
