If you become a victim or suspect you might be a victim of identity fraud for any reason, simply let us know. You do not have to confirm identity fraud before seeking assistance. We will put you in touch with a dedicated fraud specialist who will assist you throughout the fraud resolution process and will provide you with confirmation of your return to pre-identity theft status and will provide post-recovery follow-up for 12 months.
Services performed by your fraud specialist include:
- Assistance with placing fraud alerts at each of the three major credit bureaus
- Researching and documenting any fraudulent transactions, false accounts
- Contacting creditors to dispute charges
- Closing fraudulent accounts
- Contacting relevant government agencies

Identity Theft Expense Reimbursement Insurance

You are protected with up to $25,000 of Identity Theft coverage to cover expenses incurred in the recovery of a stolen identity…such as lost wages, legal fees, certified mail and long distance charges.

You will receive automated alerts of key changes to your credit file that could signal identity theft. We can even send the alerts to you in a text message for ease of use and rapid communication. This benefit is available to account holders age 18 and older who have a valid credit file.

This service covers most types of identity fraud, even if it is not related to your account(s) with First Nebraska Credit Union! Plus, the identity fraud resolution service extends to cover up to 3 generations of your family members!
