FROM THE PRESIDENT AND CEO

I hope you are READY FOR better!

You’ve been asking for a nicer, newer online experience, and we heard you! We are working on a system upgrade (also known as a core conversion) to provide you with better technology and better services.

The upgrade will start the evening of Thursday, Oct. 31, with service interruptions through Saturday, Nov. 2. This upgrade will improve our online banking, mobile banking app, bill pay, remote check deposit and phone banking.

We are very excited about the improvements and efficiencies this will bring you!

This upgrade is a big undertaking which will provide you with the best user experience possible. We diligently reviewed different systems for more than three years in order to make the best decision for our members. The new system will help us fulfill our company vision, which is to provide an enhanced member experience so we can be your financial institution of choice.

The enclosed brochure will help you understand the changes that will be taking place. Our System Upgrade Calendar (located on the other side of this letter), will show important service interruption dates.

Please note, if you get paid on Nov. 1, here’s how you can access your funds:

First, refer to your paycheck stub for your deposit amount.

  • You can still use your FNCU Debit and/or ATM card to access your funds. Debit Cards will have a daily limit of $700, and ATM Cards will have a daily limit of $400.
  • If you need to make a large payment or purchase, write a check, or consider having some extra cash on hand during this time.
