What should I do if I have a negative balance in my checking account?

If you have a negative balance in your account, make a deposit to correct the negative balance, in one of the following ways:

  1. Use Online Banking or the Mobile Banking App to transfer funds from another account
  2. Transfer funds from another financial institution to your FNCU account using our “Make a Payment” feature.
  3. Deposit a check using Remote Check Deposit in our mobile app.
  4. Give us a call at (402) 492-9100.
  5. Stop by a branch to deposit funds via cash, check or wire.

We offer Overdraft Protection to automatically transfer money from your Savings (if you have enough funds to cover the over-drafted amount) into Checking, if you accidentally have a negative checking balance.
