The only private information First Nebraska Credit Union collects and uses is the information you provide us online to respond to your needs, service your accounts and provide information to you about our services. We do not store confidential or sensitive information through the use of cookies. We use the information for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, to display information more effectively, and to recognize your device to allow you to use our online products and services.

When Sending Electronic Email

Please remember that when you send electronic mail over the Internet, the email is not necessarily secure against interception. When sending an email to info@firstnebraska.org or completing the contact form, you should only send information that is non-sensitive and non-confidential in nature. If the information you wish to convey to us is sensitive in nature (such as your account number, social security number, etc.), you should convey that to us using the Message feature in Online or Mobile banking to send a secure message.

When you contact us via email, we may use the information you provide to help us obtain the information that you requested and respond to your message. We do not collect personal information for any other reason than to respond to your inquiry. 

We will never ask you to confirm your account number, username, password, PIN or other personal information via email or text. We may call you directly with questions to update or verify account information or to clarify information if you are applying for a loan.

Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of our children is important to First Nebraska Credit Union.  We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13 without obtaining consent from a parent or legal guardian.  We subscribe to the practices under the Children’s Online Protection Act.
